I can almost hear John going ohgodnotagain in his head. Fluently. Because I bet Sherlock does this all the time back home. Mrs Hudson would get back and find John sitting on the stairs outside 221B and raise an eyebrow and John would say “Sherlock is—uh, he’s in his mind palace. Again.”
